One day, I remembered GarageBand existed. This was around the time Taylor Swift’s Evermore came out, so I decided to throw my favorite track from the album into the software and see what I could do with it. I had just taken a course in music theory and had years of experience singing in choral and jazz groups, so I felt confident I could whip up something fun, at the very least.

That was the birth of my first remix ever: “If ‘no body, no crime’ was on Reputation.” I posted it to YouTube and got insane numbers for a first effort, which motivated me to purchase Logic and throw myself into this new hobby. I found that Taylor’s music was structurally minimalist, making her songs perfect for teaching myself how to remix.

Below, you can check out the mixes I made back in the day: I’m working on cleaning up their vocals. And who knows—maybe I’ll make some more and throw them up here. I had fun.

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the audio taken from the original songs I’m remixing. This is completely free project, and I do not intend to make profit w/ this music.
