Hey Nintendo! I figure there’s a chance I hear from your lawyers because of this project. And I just wanted to say: If I’m hearing from ya, I hope that it is to work together to get these mixes on Nintendo Music! You’ve got an awesome platform that currently isn’t being used to its fullest potential, and I think these mixes truly have the potential to attract an audience that currently doesn’t have the representation in gaming that they deserve.

I’m not making a dime off this project. It’s purely made to explore myself and the things that I love. I have so much love for the DK series, especially the game Tropical Freeze. It came out at the perfect time for me and the soundtrack became an anchor for me, even if I haven’t played the game since I had a Wii U. I hope you see DK Tropical Dream as a sign of my respect for your games, art, and brands. They mean the world to me!

For what it’s worth, too, I hope that you are able to see the value of what I’ve made here. I’m not able to on my own, but together we could have the resources to get these samples cleared for proper release and make an impact on pop culture and its various intersections!
