Hey there! For about 5 years, I’ve found a hobby in making remixes of my favorite pop songs. This is my first large-scale project under my music brand, and I’m really excited to show it off to the world.

Mother Kart 8 is a remix album and interactive experience of the Mario Kart 8 soundtrack where I have mashed up each track with a clubby favorite song of mine… Something you’d hear at a gay club! My love for the worlds of Nintendo has been a constant throughout my life: I’ve always thought that the nerdy could coexist with the fun, queer, social aspects of myself but have had trouble finding representation of that coexistence in the culture around me. With that in mind, I realized that it might just be up to me to bring that representation to the world. I believe that Mother Kart 8 is not just a remix album, but a declaration that my queer culture has a home in the world of gaming.

This is a project of love for Nintendo, pop, my identity, and the limitless energy I have to pour into the things that fill my cup. I made all of the remixes, the graphics, the website, etc. by myself over the last 30 days (less, to be honest!). I hope that my love for Nintendo and Mario Kart truly shines through with my work here, and I hope that you love it as much as I do!
